PhotoFX 2 FAQs

Q. Is it possible to add more than one effect to a picture?

A. Yes. You can apply your first effect, then drag and drop the preview picture over onto the original picture (right to left). You can then apply another effect to the picture.

Q. How do I enlarge my picture to make removing 'red eye' easier?

A. Although there isn't any official zoom feature you can temporarily crop the picture and then enlarge that area of it. Once you've applied the 'red eye' removal tool you can then undo the crop and resize the picture back to its' original size.

Q. Can I make PhotoFX 2 my default application for BMPs, JPGs, etc.?

A. Yes. In Windows Explorer go to the view menu and select Folder Options... Select the File Types tab, scroll down and click on the file type that you want to associate with PhotoFX2. Select the Edit button, and choose Open from the Actions list. Select the Edit button on this dialog and then select the browse button on the next dialog screen. You should then navigate to the folder that you installed PhotoFX into (i.e. C:\Program Files\greenstreet\PhotoFX2\ PhotoFX2.exe), select the program file and then click on OK and the Close buttons until you get back to Windows Explorer. Double-clicking on a file of the type you just changed will now open that file in PhotoFX2.

Q. Can I use PhotoFX 2 to draw new graphics on the picture?

A. No, you would need a more advanced package like Canon Photo or Adobe PhotoShop for this level of editing.
