Q. I have problems importing graphics from external sources.
A. Here are the exact steps needed to import graphics from external sources:
- Insert the CD that contains your pictures.
- Choose "Create new design".
- Choose a style and click on OK.
- Select Samples, Blank and Click on OK.
- Choose the File Menu and select Directories Set-up.
- In the Import Directories, click on Add.
- On the Drive pull down list select your CD drive.
- Select the directory you wish to import the graphic from by using the directory list.
- Click on OK.
- Click on the Options OK button.
- Select import picture. All the graphics in the directory you selected will have been added to the bottom of the file list.
- Select picture required.
You will have to add a new Directory for each folder of pictures you wish to use.
Q. When I print my design onto the T-shirt transfer paper the text and picture are the wrong way round.
A. This problem is caused because the T-Shirt Maker program has not been told to reverse your design before printing. This can be accomplished by following the steps below.
- Select the Print button to take you to the print window.
- Click on the area that contains the wording "Print on Transfer Paper".
- Click on the Print button.
This should reverse the image. It should now print out reversed so when you go to place the transfer onto your T-shirt it will adhere to the shirt the correct way round.
Q. When I go to the print window the image I have made does not fit on the papers' preview area.
A. This can occur due to one of two reasons:
- Your image may be designed to be placed in an orientation opposite to the one you have set up. Changing the orientation of the paper using the set-up button from within the print preview window allows you to change this.
- The image that you have created has been set in a position that means the preview image is not positioned in the page area. Selecting the option within the print preview area containing the wording "Fit to Printable Area" allows you to alter this.
Q. How do I uninstall T-Shirt Maker?
A. There is no uninstall facility built into the T-Shirt Maker program. This is not necessary. The best way to remove the T-Shirt Maker program is to find the Greenstreet folder and remove it and all of its' subfolders. We also recommend that you remove any Start Menu and Desktop shortcuts or icons that have been created.
Q. How do I change the font style on the text I have put in.
A. To change the font style of some text all you have to do is select the frame of the text you wish to change and then select the font style you wish from the font style pull down list.
Q. When I import a photo, the picture does not fill the entire frame.
A. To make a photo fill the frame you will have to make sure that the check box next to "Keep Aspect Ratio" is unchecked.
