Please note that eps files are usually very large files and may take a long time to download, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
- What is an eps file?
- An eps file is a file format required by most art departments to produce graphics for reproduction. This file can be manipulated (for example, the size or resolution of the art can be reduced). An eps file cannot be opened and viewed without Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop, but can be copied electronically without physically opening the file. Since the file size is usually very large, it may not fit on a floppy; you may need a large format disk like a Zip disk or you may copy the eps file onto a CD if you have a CD burner.
- What is a pdf file?
- A pdf file is a file format that can be viewed with Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded for free. A pdf file cannot be manipulated and is for viewing purposes only. In the product information below, the box pdf files correspond with the box eps files. View the pdf file first to make sure it is the art file you want to download to send to an art department.
